(1) Preparation of Edges
· Cleaning: The edges of the prefabricated sheets must be thoroughly cleaned to remove any dust, debris, or adhesive residues.
· Trimming: If necessary, edges are trimmed to ensure precise alignment and minimize gaps.
(2) Applying Bonding Agents
· A specialized adhesive or bonding agent is evenly applied along the edges of the sheets.
For some tracks, hot welding techniques may be used to create a durable, fused bond.
(3) Aligning and Joining Sheets
· Sheets are carefully aligned to ensure that the edges meet perfectly.
Using guide markers or lasers can help achieve precise alignment.
(4) Pressing and Sealing
· A heavy-duty roller is passed over the seam to press the edges together, ensuring even adhesion and eliminating air bubbles.
· Sealants may be applied over the seam to enhance water resistance and protect against wear.
